Literature Text

There once was a sad girl of 11.
She dreamed of goigng to heaven.
She sat there, barely survived,
Didn't care if she lived or died,
Did nothing at school,
People called her a fool,
She knoew they were right
But did nothing to fight

Soon, sadly, at noon,
Exactly 2 minutes too soon,
The girl took a pill
She felt quite ill.
She ran to the loo
and did quite a poo
and flushed herself down too.

When she came out,
She did not sit and pout
When she was sitting down there in the loo
She'd done some thinking, too.
She thought, "why should I,
Live as if I were a fly,
That nobody wants around."
So then she found
A way to get rid of herself.

On the roof she jumped off,
With no time to even cough,
She landed hard- on a trampoline.
And on, how she laughed!
As she bounced up and down,
She died. Laughing.
An ancient poem I found today, written by me circa 2008 CE, when I was twelve or so, complete with grammatical errors.
I was a strange child, I think. This poem was probably meant to be satirical, with a depressed girl who is also a hypocrite (this is why I put it in Literature/Poetry/Human Nature).

I was an interesting child.
