Waives were a prototype built for a combination of speed, strength, and durability. They now roam free and can adapt to almost any environment.
Waives are dragonlike "robots" with plates of protective metal covering different parts of their bodies. One horn on their head supports a leathery sheet of skin, which changes color when searching for a mate. Precious stones line their backs and the edges of the metal plates covering their flanks. Both their tail and horn are retractable. They have no eyes but have a gap through which a light emits, creating a glow.
It is debated whether or not these creatures have souls, but after observing the creatures, it's hard to deny that they have personalities.
